Earth is our first home
Before any house we build, the Earth gives us air, water, food and shelter. Save First Home helps people in India look after it, one practical step at a time.
Why “first home”?
We look after the homes we live in: we sweep, mend and keep them safe for our families. The Earth is the home that holds all of those homes, and it needs the same everyday care.
Big changes are needed from governments and industry. But millions of small actions, by families, schools, offices and neighbourhoods, add up to something just as real: cleaner air, saved water, more trees and less waste.

Who we are
Save First Home is a CSR initiative started by DotandDash Technologies, a technology company that builds and runs this website.
The work on the ground is done by volunteers, partner schools, housing societies, NGOs and companies who share the same hope.
What we stand by
- Honest numbers: we only count what really happened, and mark sample content as sample.
- Sources for every fact, so you can check what we say.
- Your data stays yours: we collect as little as possible and never sell it.
- A light website: small pages and no tracking ads, so less data and less carbon.
- Hope over fear: practical steps, not doom.
Our art
Our drawings are inspired by Warli, the folk painting of the Warli community of Maharashtra: white figures painted on red-ochre mud walls, celebrating everyday life with nature. The drawings on this site are placeholders. We plan to commission Warli artists for the final artwork and credit them here.
